I just realised Barbie sincerely and genuinely called the old lady beautiful because she’s never known what the concept of aging is, let alone that you’re supposed to be getting “uglier” as you age - all she’s known in her world is that everything and everyone is beautiful no matter what, and she comes to that conclusion after shedding her very first human tear.
